A critical, but often unknown, part of the law-making process is called ‘Committee of the Whole House’— this is where MPs get to question the Minister’s intent and propose changes to the Bill.  

We collected your suggested changes to the Bill because we know you have ideas that this Government needs to hear!  

You had some awesome technical changes to suggest and shared what principles and values you want reflected in good regulation. Many of you even had ideas for renaming the bill itself! Our Parliamentary team was able to draft those ideas into amendments in line with Parliament’s rules, and our MPs took them to the House!
