Public Meeting: Immigration & Worker Rights

Everyone who chooses to make Aotearoa New Zealand their home has the right to a decent job, to a safe, warm home and to be part of a connected, thriving community.

Last year the Greens successfully pushed for the Government to create pathways to residency for tens of thousands of migrant people. But so much more is needed to fix our broken immigration system that discriminates and separates, treating migrant workers as cheap labour and second class citizens.

Join Green List MPs, Ricardo Menéndez March and Jan Logie for a public meeting about the issues that affect our migrant communities.

Ricardo is the Green Party’s spokesperson for Immigration; Tourism; and Social Development & Employment (among other things), while Jan is the spokesperson for Workplace Relations & Safety; ACC; and more.

For COVID safety reasons, numbers are limited and priority will be given to those who have RSVP’d. Please wear your mask and sign in for contact-tracing purposes.
