Everyone who chooses to make Aotearoa New Zealand their home has the right to a decent job, to a safe, warm home and to be part of a connected, thriving community.
We've made great progress to win pathways to residency for tens of thousands of migrant people, put amnesty for overstayers on the agenda, and worked to end migrant worker exploitation. But so much more is needed to fix our broken immigration system that discriminates and separates, treating migrant workers as cheap labour and second class residents.
Join Green Party spokesperson for Immigration Ricardo Menéndez March and Green List MP based in Rongotai Julie Anne Genter in Newtown for a community meeting about the issues that affect our migrant communities.
Numbers are limited and priority will be given to those who have RSVP’d. Please wear your mask so we can protect everyone’s wellbeing.
