Arts and Activism with Rainbow Green MPs

The Greens are incredibly proud to be the Proudest Party in Parliament, but there’s still a lot of work to do to represent and uplift the voices of takatāpui and Rainbow people in Aotearoa.

Are you attending the Pride March on Feb 18? We are! We invite you to join us on Friday 17th February to paint signs for the Pride March and catch up with Rainbow Green MPs.

We're incredibly excited to be collaborating with Intersex Aotearoa (ITANZ) for this event.

Intersex Aotearoa is an intersex-led, non-profit organisation that provides affirmation, advocacy and referral for intersex people and their whānau. We centre lived experience and community knowledge in what we do.

Our advocacy means we also work alongside peer human-rights, Rainbow and health organisations, with government legislative bodies, researchers, academics and healthcare professionals to create the change we want to see for ira tāngata/intersex communities in Aotearoa.

Join us for an evening of connecting and creating, and envisioning an Aotearoa where takatāpui and Rainbow communities live with dignity, equality and bodily integrity.

We encourage you to bring your own materials, but some supplies and nibbles will be provided.
