Everyone who chooses to make Aotearoa New Zealand their home has the right to a decent job, to a safe, warm home and to be part of a connected, thriving community.

But for many in our community, our immigration system has left them behind. They've fallen through the cracks, left vulnerable to exploitation, and denied the safety and security of a visa.

Right now, the Government is considering implementing an amnesty for overstayers. We've been campaigning for this change for months, and now's the time to make our voices heard.

Join Ricardo Menéndez March (Green List MP based in Mt Albert and spokesperson for Immigration) and Teanau Tuiono (Green List MP and spokesperson for Pacific Peoples) for a community meeting about the urgent need for an amnesty for overstayers, and what this could mean for our communities.

We are pleased to hold this meeting in partnership with the Migrant Workers Association, hosted at the Unite Union office.

Numbers are limited and priority will be given to those who have RSVP’d. Please wear your mask so we can protect everyone’s wellbeing.
