Country of Origin Labelling

Just like with your clothes and shoes, you should have the right to know where your food comes from.

Add your name to our call for mandatory Country of Origin Labelling of food in New Zealand. Australia does it, we can too.

We request that the House of Representatives support country origin labelling of food in New Zealand.

Country of origin is important to support local growers while help reducing the carbon foot print of our food. Also, people need to eat by the season, nature designed/grows food this way for a reason

This is so important! It has become so difficult to identify where our food is coming from.

This makes such a big difference for calculating carbon miles, fair trade likelihood or even how damaging the product would be to earth e.g. water-intensive almonds from a drought area like California. Helping us to make better decisions and to consume more from our own environment is a great step towards our personal and ecological health.

Absolutely. We should know where it comes from.
